Forceplates

› FORCE PLATES
Performance in sport is not just about strength. It is about generating great force in a very short period of time. It is about POWER. We use Force Plates which are a direct measure instrument to assess power and speed, meaning the measurement is highly accurate and scientific. NO GUESS WORK! Using force plates we can create a detailed force- velocity profile. Power in explosive exercises is critical for sport, training prescriptions and setting goal benchmarks. Strength and power are highly trainable characteristics that require careful, continuous. monitoring for effective development. Our Force Plate testing provides insights on the training process so training can be specific for each and every athlete.

Vo2max

› VO2 MAX
Aerobic power is probably the single most important, yet underestimated, key performance indicator in sport. Measuring the ability of the muscle to sustain a high output and measuring the peak ability of the cardiovascular system to fuel intense activity are critical to building resilience in athletes. By testing this, athletes can assess their level of fitness and coaches can make educated decisions about conditioning. It is not only about developing endurance. It is also about building resilience. Poor aerobic capacity means athletes get fatigued faster and sooner. When fatigue sets in, performance becomes less and less effective and the risk of injury grows exponentially. Additionally, mental errors are

Vo2max

› BODY COMPOSITION
Body composition is the greatest indicator of what most people refer to as athletic shape. Having the correct amount of lean body mass is key when the goal is to build a solid foundation of general athleticism. Lean muscle is what fuels sporting activities. It is measured by height and hydration status using an electrical current. Every athlete needs a personal ratio of lean mass to height to feel optimized. By changing body mass dynamics, we can influence endurance ability, abilities, strength recovery capacity, and power output. Body composition affects all aspects of sport and is highly trainable.

Vo2max

› SPEED
Acceleration is the foundation of sport, highly trainable, and critical to sport development. Producing Force NOW is what creates explosive movement. By using Laser timing systems and Force decks for impulse, we can get a very accurate measurement of how well the athlete creates velocity. We can train you to produce faster contractions and quickly displace your center of mass to cover ground

ORTHOPEDICS + MOBILITY
Every joint has a purpose and a specific range it is meant to achieve. If you have a blockage or injury, you cannot direct the forces you create well.

Todd grew up as a multi-sport athlete but found his passion as a collegiate volleyball player and professional wakeboarder. His exposure to elite training and recovery from injury introduced him to the field of sports medicine. He pursued his career by studying how to optimize the body for performance using technology and sports science. Todd is a professor and the Director of the USC Clinical Exercise Research Center and has been conducting clinical trials in the fields of health and human movement for the past 25 years, with over 100 publications to his name. He is trained as an exercise physiologist, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM). Additionally, Todd is the co-founder and Chief Science Officer for K2 Sciences, a sports and wellness product consultancy based in Los Angeles. He has contributed to the development and implementation of wearable devices in professional sports and mobile health technology, and has consulted for over 75 companies and professional sports teams.
Ashmedh’s passion for competing in sports, tennis and now pickleball, was often at odds with his injury profile. Often injured and after tearing both ACLs, he became fascinated with the idea of using data to inform recovery and return to sport. With over twenty years of global experience commercially orienting healthcare technologies across Orthopedics, Image-Guided Surgery, and Neurotechnology, Ashmedh turned his attention to identifying and commercializing technologies with the potential to elevate the human experience by utilizing data to create a more informed pathway to recovery and performance. Ashmedh is the co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer for K2 Sciences, a sports and wellness product accelerator based in Los Angeles. Ashmedh holds dual engineering degrees from Northwestern University in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering.
Brandon’s mission is to mentor and coach athletes on how to overachieve in sport and life. He chose this mission because it reflects his own upbringing. By developing his mind, toughness, and technique, he worked to become a top athlete, starting at a prestigious nationally ranked high school. His passion for teaching others to develop into elite athletes led him to earn a degree in Sports Science and Kinesiology at Gonzaga University. He built a reputation at Gonzaga for his dedication and commitment to spending all of his time in the Sports Science departments, assisting in the training and performance of various athletes at Gonzaga. Upon graduation, and earning the coveted Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, he came to Pro Code 6 to fulfill his dream of training athletes across various sports and levels by improving their physical preparation, psychology, and recovery. Brandon resides in Irvine with his wife, Jaclyn.
